And I'm talking about Barnet. The ref cost us that game, it looked like a penalty but it was not a red card offence if I understand the new rules. Also missed a stonewall penalty for us.

I can't believe they beat us, even when we went down to ten men. They were truly awful. Just three defensive lapses and that was it. Their equaliser looked like a cross that drifted in, and they really ride their luck at the back. On another day we would have won at least 3-0.

Just the three defensive lapses then ? We are losing to teams we should be killing off. We dont win these games enough. Thats why we will be relegation battlers to lower mid table team.

The goals were seriously poor defensive errors incl an appalling piece of goalkeeping.

We also conceded 3 to defensive lapses against 2nd bottom Orient.If crap teams can do that now,what chance have we against the better sides in the league

Rather oddly, we seem to do better against the teams higher up the division ! ( Plymouth, Carlisle ( ok I know the result was crap but the performance was good , Grimsby). What puzzles me is what does Higgy tell them at half time ? A goal up yesterday, scored at exactly the right time last week then manage to balls it up spectacularly !
Not overly concerned just yet, but we obviously need to stop throwing points away.

Good question Johnny. And what does he tell them during the course of the match? The referee was appalling on Saturday - but so was every aspect of our game management - and that must be down to Hignett and his assistant. Yes, after the first ten minutes, we 'bossed' the game - and they had only route one to their big fella up front - and we looked better even with ten men - but we fell apart. Again.

We needed Billy on the pitch as soon as they scored - has something gone on between him and Hignett?

I thought he would have been the wrong sub to make. Our pace up top was what was working for us. Would have been difficult for him to slot into that.
