Don't know if it's just me but I think Carson is conceding some very soft goals as well, think he could have done better on a fair few occasions this season! Two yesterday I think he could have saved and that header last week for a start.

Last week he fumbled the first corner at Carlisle that led to the second d that they scored from. He looks low on confidence too. Probably sick of playing for teams at the arse end of League Two year after year.

A keeper is only as good as the defence in front of him.

Don't get me wrong I like Carson, just think he's going through a rough patch.

He's a good keeper, every keeper at whatever level makes the odd mistake it goes with the territory. The first goal was a shocker from his point of view but I guess by the way he was punching himself on the head straight after he realised that himself.

Does he have a slight injury? I said first half yesterday that he's normally excellent with his feet but his kicking was poor and he seemed to be pulling up slightly when making longer clearances as if he couldn't strike it properly. It was something I mentioned at 0-0 before his error.
