Got to be happy with that, Wrexham aren't going that well in the National League.

Stamford's a nice place if we manage to take them to a replay.

I'm sure at one point in that game Humphreys was centre half.

The game he ended up centre half was the Blackpool game, Martin Scott's last. I think Micky Barron got sent off. One of the other centre backs was Gerard Nash, one of the worst centre backs I have ever seen in a Pools shirt.

Juan Ugarte is still only 33, get him signed!

I didn't know he got crocked and had to retire at 26. Shame for the lad.

Losing 6-4 at home puts Saturday's result in some sort of context!

I remember the rumour at the time was that Ugarte was a far better player than League One but he was living in the North West so he was close to his very special erm 'friend' Xavi Alonso at Liverpool.

Tyler Harvey who scored 2 against us for Plymouth in the away thrashing we got at the end of last season now plays for Wrexham.
He hasn't scored a goal since netting past Trevor Carson.

Is there a smiley "Oh no! you just knew it was gonna happen" face!!

"Stamford all over Wrexham like a rash, a very itchy rash or like bees over honey. Wrexham can't handle them.

One Stamford heard shouting "BRING ON THE HARTLEPOOL"

Lee Beeson fires a penalty straight down the middle leaving the Wrexham goalkeeper absolutely no chance unless he had stood still, but Beeson anticipated that he wouldn't.

1-0 to Stamford at half time but could be 4 or 5"

"Stamford running Wrexham ragged.

Kern Miller smashes home a superb volley, following a weak clearance, into the top corner of Jalal's goal. Unbeatable, undeniable, possible goal of the cup contender.

Stamford 2 - Wrexham 0 - Scoreline flatters Wrexham"

Pleased with that a proper cup tie, plus when we fuck the game up and have to go a replay we'll get some TV money.
