[taps fingers on desk]

I'm still waiting for the apocalypse and chuckling at all the great and the good financial gurus backpedaling.

Stuff is costing us more which is great though now we've got our country back which is great. It's helps with confusing currency conversion when in the Eurozone like I was last week, 60 Euros you say that works out (taps caluculations into phone) at around £60.

I was impressed how quickly the Tories gave up on austerity for a while and flooded the economy with money to stop an immediate recession. Great idea to call it quantitive easing rather than random sloshing of cash. Not sure they've got enough the piggy bank to do the same trick when Brexit actually gets going though. Hopefully they'll see sense and agree to the conditions needed make sure things continue pretty much as normal.

The real impact of Brexit won't be seen or felt until 5 to 10 years on after we have left and understand the conditions.

However many businesses who actually employ people and create wealth are starting to be impacted and for sure are holding back on investments in the U.K. Until we know the conditions of Brexit.

I know everyone on here hates those horrible types in the City but they create about 45% of the national wealth and in the short term if even a reasonable proportion of that tax revenue and employment disappears we have a financial crisis on our hands.

Anyway good bait Mr I.....another 10 page thread or are most people bored by now?

Brexit still better than Trump I reckon

I wouldnt start holding my breath waiting for Brexit to actually start either.

There doesnt appear to be that much of a hurry going on.

Aprt from lard arse Boris making sweeping statements, which mean fuckall.

That stupid racist fucker from UKIP refuses to actually fuck off though, so maybe he will actually grow a pair, and try and get involved.

It was. But then everyone thought brexit would actually happen. So far it hasnt. And it appears there are very few people that actually want to start the ball rolling.

Why do you think that is?

I think you're wishing mate. The government has clearly said that they will push the button Q1 2017. How much more clarity do you need?

Dont be surprised if there is a general election first.

Corbyn's people's army will force a general election, the 250 million people who support his social common sense policies cannot be ignored.

Then Corbyn will revoke the referendum because he doesn't believe in democracy and proved a fervent supporter of the EU in the campaign.

You heard it here first. Diane Abbot foreign secretary to bring some gravitas back to the role after Boris

I see Boris has told the Turkish ambassador he will do all he can to fast-track Turkey into the E.U.! I wish I could wake up from this dream - it's not funny anymore.

That has to be a joke right.....wasn't that another major card of the leave campaign to stop Turkey joining the EU. Unless of course he's setting up the Trojan horse to take the EU down as soon as we leave, he's clever that Boris

It appears the 'knowledgable' folk on here have had a bout of amnesia.

Before the referendum, Bojo said he would happy for Turkey to join the EU

. . . providing the UK had left.

Who the fuck is bojo?

OK, I know who it is, but since when has that fat twat been given a nickname on here?

Think you are on the wrong board.

And you are some commentator if you can remember every single comment any one of the brexit lovers said in the run up to the farce.

Most of us can barely remember what any of the cu nts said yesterday.

You should change your name to Barry Brexit, it's virtually all you ever post about. Nothing wrong with that in principle but you can't expect everybody to be a profoundly dull obsessive just because you are.

Yes, that's it - I'm to blame for knowing things.

The dull and ignorant Remoaners who were suggesting there'd been an about-turn by Boris on Turkey are blameless.

See the brexit lot say stuff like "whats happened to the economic nightmare then?"

But if that is a valid point, why cant they explain where this extra NHS funding has gone?

You cant have it both ways. can you Harry?

It's quite obvious where the extra money has gone, it's still in Europe, we haven't left yet.

Anyone who thought that the day after the vote would see a huge pile of cash immediately available needs their head looking at.

At junior school I was fascinated by adverts that told us by the year 2000 we'd be rocketing off to Butlins on Mars, the house would be looked after by robots etc etc, but ........ here we are and I still have to cut the fooking grass myself.
Politics is another topic that promises much but produces jack shit.
So, the chuntering, bile, petty prejudices and theories of all sides on here haven't made a jot of difference to anything and never will.
So learn to stop worrying and love the bomb as the man said.
Just spend more time living and less frothing, adapt, I learnt to years ago.

Errrrr I think you will find thats what we are saying.

Even more stupid though are those claiming that since there wasnt an economic collapse immediately after the vote, everyrhing is rosey in the post brexit apocalypse.

The recent comments from May and her ministers suggest that they will pull the trigger failry soon. But extremely worrying are the comments attached, suggesting that they will make it work with extreme Austerity measures....................basicallly suggesting the working class are going to suffer big style, for the foreseeable.

Well done everyone. For the first time ever, the working classes will not be able to blame the tories for their ever worsening standeard of living.

And meanwhile, allthe Corbyn jesus followers are taliking about is protesting against grammar schools.

But we all know they love a good protest march.

Where I live, I get paid in the local currency which has gone up 12% since June against the pound.

I'd just like to say thanks.
