How the hell has Glen Johnson been selected?

could still make a pretty strong 4-4-2 with that although the midfield does look suspect. Obviously Kyle Walker will be in ahead of Glen Johnson. Alli, Dier in the middle and Rashford and Vardy have to be the only choice if playing 2 upfront..

Is Clyne injured?

That midfield squad is pretty piss poor when you see it written down like that. Shows how far behind England are in international terms

Have to agree, I do like Alli, Antonio and Dier mind. Antonio has been bobbins so far this season and Oxlade-Bartholomew-Cholmdley-Chamberlain hasnt really started much to my knowledge.

Townsend in for Stirling, along with Antonio that's two players in that deserved to go to the Euros in the squad.

There must surely be a solution to this.

I think the only answer is to allow Premiershit clubs to play their young talent in that League One & Two tin pot competition, after all it would be a win-win. Those small time, irrelevant smaller clubs will get the chance to rub shoulders with the rich and not at all famous English youth and the fans will love it. They'd much sooner see an Everton U23 side than Plymouth wouldn't they?

Don't stop me yet, I'm on a roll and it's not made of bread or pastry.

Then we could dismantle the structure of the English pyramid and let the Premiershit clubs 'B' teams compete against those lower league no-marks every week! How useful would that be?!

I'm in the wrong job me, I need to have a chat with the FA.

Maybe we could even bring in some Scottish clubs too?

Fuck me I'm on fire.

Just heard that William Hill have stopped taking bets on England winning everything forever.

Looking at this squad, I'm glad I'm a Johnny Foreigner!

Oxtail chambermaid has done nowt to warrant a place in the squad.

Hang on though. Thats the same criteria that ensures rooney gets picked now.

Stirling is playing really well this season and is Antonio really an International footballer? He's a big lad who scores a few headers but I don't see a great deal of quality in his all round play. He was a fat Sam pick and he's his type of player.

Stirling has increased his good game to absolute garbish ones ratio. You're idea of playing really well is different to mine.

As for Antonio, he played as well as anyone last season and in several positions. He scored more than a few headers, cutting in from the right to curl the ball past the keeper a few times. I wouldn't have picked him this season but I felt he deserved to go to the Euro's on last seasons form.

One glaring omission for me is Barkley, what I've seen this season of him he's back to near his best.

In that case Nathan Thomas should be in the squad! bbolt

Most teams play with three central midfielders now.

Give me Dier, Alli, Barkley and Wilshire, and perm any three from 4 and we will be fine.

But now the conundrum, how to get Rooney in there??????????????????

Wilshire did feck all to justify his place in the Euro squad at any point last season including the Euros. I like him as a player when he actually does play don't get me wrong.

Who cares whether he did or he didnt justify his place last year?

Rooney justified his case, but that doesnt mean he should be in now.

Wilshire is a better footballer than any other midfielder we have. Thats a fact jaclk. Unless England just start picking their best players we will never compete.

Barkley is another that shouldbe there.

But I know there will be some that will say Henderson deserves his place more...................or give another example of a bang average footballer that they say deserves his place.

We DO like to big up average players in this country. Well they work hard dont they?

Yes I saw that Talbot. Worryingly its probably close to the team. But hey Rooney was brilliant a few years ago,and is a legend at Manure and with their fans. So its probably fair he gets all 11 shirts.
