I laughed at him once when he had a group of lads on a stag night in front of him just after the Falklands ......he introduced them to the audience and told them they'd been fighting there and the crowd gave them a long round of applause which the lads stood up and bowed to...when it subsided he waited then said in the pause...."they're Argentinians and if you wanna cheer s**t like that...it's up to you" :laugh:

I was with the future Mrs BP, and the soon to be senior in-laws, for a New Years Eve meal and 'entertainment'. I will have to check, but my S-I-L was probably just starting out in her Nunnery career.
