A few of us are having an afternoon gauge in Sheffield in a couple of weeks.

Can anyone recommend a good crawl that involves pubs close together that sell proper beer? And also a decent curry house?

Makes me laugh recently on Facebook, plenty of people showing off that they are in a 'proper pub' with loads of local beers etc and they sit there with a pint of Stella.

Start at top end of map KELHAM ISLAND , great pubs, and work towards city centre. Just ask the locals as you go and they will recommend you a good curry house.

There is pub on railway stn that you can either start or finish off in. Sheffield Tap

Most places in the city centre are decent, and not far from Bramell lane is a road called Eccleshall Road or eccy Road as it's know there that has a lot of decent places along it, I have mates in Sheffield so have been plenty of times
