The Mrs went out tonight & my 3 year old son nodded off,so I ordered a pizza & sat down to watch last weeks Dr Who (weeping angels) with my daughter.
I now have an 8 year old girl who is frightened of being on her own & is only in bed now because Im in the room next to it with the doors open & all the lights on.
I fear there will be repercussions when Mrs G (her who said 3 weeks ago (the scarecrow episode) no more Dr Who at night) finds out.
Thank feck Im off to Glastonbury for 6 days on Tuesday.

Just say that you fell to sleep and the kid watched it without you knowing anything about it.

Say you fell to sleep as you were so tired after doing all the housework while she was away.

tell her your'e male, you cant help it, its something to do with genes.
That way she'll tut and say something about us all being the same.
Just hope she's understanding when it comes to the lassies nightmares in the middle of the night.
Best plan is to pretend youre still asleep so she'll get up
