Good for him if he's been working unpaid to gain the experience. Three full time fitness and conditioning staff -crikey.

And it's another Boro connection for the lads at Radio Tees to chunter on about - they do their best not to be patronising when they talk about Pools but fail miserably.

That proto-Brownlee who was talking to Phil on Monday evening said some canny things then spoiled it by musing (just after the call had ended) about how great it was that Pools were getting gates of "two and a half to three thousand." You're supposed to be a bloody journalist - do some research!

You can never have enough right-backs in your physio team.

I think we are finally catching up with other teams in how they prepare for games and keep players fit. The club has always seemed old fashioned and stuck in a rut, we now have a decent medical/fitness set up, a manager who has the freedom set up a club philosophy and also we are utilizing technology available such as Curtis Fleming watching footage of other clubs set pieces.

The next few years are going to be exciting times

Apparently he rang in sick for his first day.

Is prehabilitation actually a word or just a made up physiotherapist buzz word?

It's defiantly not a buzz word. Preparation for matches is key but also what you do after a match is massively important too.

Parnaby says in the article we may not be premiership but there's no reason why we can't prepare and act like them and that's spot on.
