They've only got a few when they play at home! Averaging 1,694.

200-300 tonight would be a good effort.

There biggest away following of the season was 336 to Morecambe so if they brought anywhere near 200-300 would be exceptional for them. Id probably say 150 maximum which given there home gates is still a decent effort

They might be on a good run but they are still Accrington.
2-0 Pools. Carson and Hignett.

If we play like we did on Saturday then we'll probably get beat.

If we play with a bit of urgency then we probably won't.

The reason I suggested caution in backing Pools on the other thread until the teams were announced was because I think there will be changes tonight in Pools line up. Although rarely right, The Mail is quoting Hignett saying much the same, and has suggested Bartlett, Harrison, Laurent, and Bingham could all be in line for a start.

Personally I don't think our back up players are as good as the starters and that's why they are back up players, but if he does make a few changes to look at squad players it might be tough going against a side who will be absolutely busting a gut to win.

You'd like to think anyone that came in would be busting a gut to keep in the side but not convinced about Harrison or Bingham anymore unfortunately. Would be good to see how Lauren gets on.

1-1

Accy will have most of the play but can't convert their chances and pools hold on for a draw. Luke James to notch for pools.

187 from Accy.

I agree it would be good to see some of the back up players, however if there are to many changes it takes away the fluency of the team and will make it hard for a group of players who have not played together. Remember it took a few games under Hignett for the players to gel.
