It'll be a good marker to see how we'd fare next season. It's been said a number of times, the standard is pretty poor in this league. If we have any ambition we should be trying to win these games to give us belief going into next year.

Not to mention a few of these players are still playing to show why they should be here next season. Still no time for complacency.

If we lose them all, we'll get better odds on the title next year.

But a good finish may help make up the minds of possible new signings, that Pools is the team to go to if you have promotion ambitions.

Hignett doesn't seem the type to allow complacency.

Four good games I reckon even if we were down in trouble at this stage of the season teams pushing for top spots regularly go to shit purely down to pressure it will be nice to piss on a few chips. We saw in the Northampton game how little a gap in class exists in the division anyone can beat anyone barring the bottom two who do look to be total shite.

It will be interesting how many Accrington bring on Tuesday given the position they are in wil they top 100!?

Not exactly as we'd hoped at the end of last season but we still have a big role to play in the promotion race. I wouldn't say there are many teams who have been anything special this season so lets play these last few games with confidence, freedom and throw a few spanners in the works.

Hopefully Accrington won't go up and we can get them on a Saturday next season so there's a better chance of being able to get there.

I'd love to see Accrington go up ahead of the likes of bigger spending clubs like Portsmouth and Plymouth who bring more fans to us anyway.

It's hardly a great away day the ground is a dump and it's a tough place to go as they are decent team.

I agree it'd be good to see Accrington go up, I'm just thinking about keeping a northern team rather than someone from the south coast. It's not a great place to go but at least I can get there a lot easier.
