Just been to his talk in the engineers and what a top fella he was he held back from nothing and gave a load of info away about former players and managers over his years it's just a shame I can't remember any at this minute

Remember a game him and Hollund played in years back, after a goal line scramble was cleared he turned to Hollund making it clear he'd used his hand to clear it off the line while having a good laugh about getting away with it.Was a decent performer over the years for us.

Whenever you go to these footy talk-in thingies someone always asks "who was the hardest/nastiest bastard?". No one ever seems to ask who was the nicest, most skillful, funniest, had the biggest cock etc.

So did he say anything interesting about IOR/Hodcroft/Sam Collins ?

Yeah what I can remember he said there was a Yorkshire mafia at the club and they had a lot of say at the club.

He was very bitter that God croft never had the decency to tell him he was no longer wanted at the club and was told via phone by Maureen

He spoke very very highly of Yogi and believes he could have done great things at Pools but he wanted to do things his way and wouldn't be a yes man.

Will always remember him taking one square in the face in the play off semi at Bristol City which led to us eventually losing the game ( think Eiffion ended up playing full back ? ).
Also the ball from back to front for that goal against Darlo at the White Elephant.
