8-track Cartridges!

Oh aye, we once drove from Hartlepool to Newquay in my mates car and all we had was Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars and the Bad Company first album, both on 8 track......... :laugh:

They are very popular and collectable amongst the classic car movement who maintain there cars to original standards.

The sort of era must have been from about 1968 to around 1974-5

We deffo had albums like "Let It Be" and "Piledriver" on Cartridge, and Me Mam had Carole King and those "Mowtown Chartbuster" things.

I reckon by 75 they were gone.
