Don't take them to Diggerland/world or whatever. My mate took his bairn last week and said it was worse than poor, rundown, staffed by kids who knew nowt about nowt, and even less about health and safety! Oh and a Hot Dog and a few chips came to £6!!!!!

I've never been to the Durham Diggerland, but the one near Leeds is ok.

brilliant for little uns. Very much a fairy tale land sort of place. Up to about 8 year old they'll love it.

Mr Elkots, you could save up and take the bairns to Kynren. It opens in July. I think you will only need 2 mortgages to get family tickets!!
