You got the ouija board out again? It's not on any of the websites yet.

Anyhow, good for Lewis!

Results have certainly picked up since Hawkins has had a good run in his preferred position.

Good luck to him but I'd have nominated Carson, Jackson and Carroll before him possibly even Featherstone and Thomas. That's not suggesting he hasn't done well mind.

You wonder how they actually pick these things apart from if someone is scoring loads, oh Hartlepool are in good form lets randomly pick a player from them!

Carroll for me. He has strolled it. Hardly broken sweat. Probably needs a Sharapova dope test mind.

Maybe his sports psychologist just helped him ignore the utter wankers who were slagging him off and draining his confidence each game.

Having listened to Curtis Fleming on pools player today, maybe the problem is that he couldn't understand the previous coaches and management

See my post above

Or if I was being cynical, the fact that he's out of contract in the summer

I'd say the only geniune howler he's made was Notts County and that wasn't in March, the goal against Dagenham was soft but didn't cost us anything and one of the goals at Bristol Rovers possibly but Harrison was far more culpable for that. He's conceded 2 in 6 games and gone over 400 minutes without conceding. He'd be in my top three I reckon which would be probably 1.Carroll 2.Jackson 3.Carson.

Imagine this.... an actual month were we are debating who our best players have been!

Makes you wonder how utter shit Cheltenham must have been to go down with him in net.

The Midfield has been a problem, too many attacking and nobody to put a foot in and score the occasional goal, well step up Hawkins and take a bow, unassuming and good work ethic, perhaps the Poet had the same mindset as you!

looking at the top of the conference table, it makes you wonder how good that league actually is with them at the top, unless they made some very good signings last summer.

Its nice to see a pools player up for an award no matter who it is and likewise seeing a pools player in the team of the week most times this month. Id probably go for Carroll, yes he had an amazing turnaround from where he was but 4 clean sheets, including some goal saving interceptions, 3 assists and a goal. Surely that's almost the perfect month for a defender
