For years I hated it, I still do for some reasons. However I have chosen to watch the Liverpool game tonight. It's light years ahead of the standard lower down. Pace, vision, intent. Yes there is the diving, the moaning etc. And most premiership footballers are despicable characters, that said some of the football is brilliant to watch.

James Milner, if ever a footballer was underrated for his ability, work rate and 'celebrity' it's this lad. What a player

How is Milner underrated for his 'celebrity'? How can you either over, or under, rate somebody for their 'celebrity'?

I don't think he's done enough roasting or been banned from driving too much to qualify.

I've always quite admired Milner, fitness fantastic, teetotal, never been in anything but the back of the papers. He's a pretty limited average footballer really but he's realised every bit of his potential and played at the highest level throughout his career.

I still hope he's nowhere near the England squad in the summer though!

No I don't. Maybe you mean he doesn't get enough celebrity status for his level of ability/wealth? Doesn't seem like something worth giving a toss about though.

Be very happy to see Leicester win it and wouldn't mind Spurs either, I like Pochettino's approach. Anybody except the five plotting to give themselves guaranteed Champions League entry would do me.

I really hope Leicester hang in there, be fantastic to see them win the premiership instead of the usual lot.

Read Toulose's 2 contributions and see why I sometimes get rattled. Deliberately provocative. Sad

Read them both. He questioned something you said and disagreed with it. I personally didn't see a problem.

I now see you provoking things with your latest comment though...

Merely an observation as you brought it up...

I think Toulouse is a person of utterly deprived character. I agree with Bresslaw, who is absolutely right to be rattled. Don't worry, Bresslaw, Toulouse is now on my list of miscreants and Mr Fat Man will deal with him later.

Milner - runs a lot. But is average as a footballer, great athlete like.

Leicester - hope they win it too, I've always supported them all my life to be fair.

Got my muzzy izzet Leicester shirt on right now.

Hoping for a final top four of Leicester, Spurs, West Ham, Stoke.

Our so-called super teams will naff off to an invitation-only European League faster than you can say 'television rights.'

The ironing is delicious that as soon as leicester, spurs n west ham start knocking on the door to champions league football and chelsea, man u and liverpool struggle the so called top 5 get together to ensure they stay at the big kids table.

And also talk of wild cards for teams that fail to qualify for the champions league as well.

Hearing rumours of next goal the winner to decide who gets in the champs league if Leicester win.

Even talk of turn round touch the ground being mentioned.

I'm a bit hurt that after all those shared evenings of depravity you're just dismissing me as deprived. I'll be waiting for The Fat man's knock.

Well enough of this piffle M'sieur...

What did you make of Arribage getting the boot at TFC? A bit late imho, but I do have a lot of time for Dupraz, who did wonders at Evian TG over recent years. Forza Viola! clappp

No real option but to bin him - been gradual decline since he took over and then rapid decline recently. Getting to safety is looking difficult even with some decent fixtures coming up. Planning to get the Girondins match - get something out of that and they might kick on. Don't know that much about Dupraz other than a decent record with the watery ones but a chnage had to be worth a shot at this stage.

Sadly the parallels with our beloved Pools are staggering this season, but I agree he had to go. Liked him as a player, but never a manager...

I meant of course that you were a character utterly deprived of depraved evenings. I fear you've been away so long that you're forgetting the subtleties of your mother tongue.
