Well Pools avoided defeat on Saturday so it's better than average on here at present.

He's ok, the operation was more complicated than they first thought, but he came through it ok. I imagine it won't be long before he's allowed to look at pictures of Margaret Thatcher again without the risk of a faint-on.

Good news

However, all he had was an in and out type operation, I've still got a painful knee and my place in the starting 11 in a mid-table six-pointer this Sunday is 50/50 at best. I wish I could have a quick op to sort it out but noooo, I have to queue behind those needing open heart surgery. Where's the justice in that?

Now I know why people say this country is bobbins.
