Still 3rd bottom now just noticed.

Ok we have games in hand but we also have the 3rd worst goal difference.

Tell me sgain where the confidence comes from that this squad is good enough.

Why should we have to tell you again? Go to the matches and judge for yourself.

The confidence comes from all the quality new signings.
A nailed on away win at Notts County.

If a restaurant that was good ten years ago has been getting progressively worse since, then had people sayimg the new chef is actually good enough but the food is still shit, would you suddenly go back?

Or would you want them to clarify how the chef can be so good but the food is still shit?

People I know that know football reckon the players are generally shit. I believe them.

Hope this helps clarify why I want this clarification.

£20 is a lot just to confirm whether something is shit or not.

Now just answer my original question.

Your original question was answered, prior to your post. Hence you wanting people to 'tell you again'.
People have said why they think what they think, you just don't like their answer.

I'd give up if I were you.

You might be lucky and get a response of "I was only joking" - If you're lucky!

You can of course spin this on its head this argument. It has been ongoin for a long time and the protagonists are pretty much the same people on either what is termed the 'negative' side of the fence or the 'positive' side of the fence.

Seems to me that if you look at the evidence the guys on the 'negative' side of the fence have been pretty much proved right over a period of time.

IOR's tenure was great at first when money was being pumped in from Norway and it appears little real effort was made behind the scenes to run the club professionally during that period. As soon as the money dried up we went into an alarming spiral.

In terms of how the club is run nothing really has changed apart from a new chairman who to be fair seems to have genuine energy and is at least communicating for the time being. Apart from him the same clique are running the club who seem to have been unable to do anything particularly professional or ground breaking other than keep whatever extra funds generated to themselves and employ people on basis of if their face fits.

Personally I am giving the new chairman time to hopefully put his own stamp on things but I am not overly optimistic that the root and branch overhaul the club needs behind the scenes will happen.

Also I work abroad so don't get to many games, however I think I'm entitled to judge if it is shit as well based on feedback from family and friends and exasperation a at Moores chopping and changing of formations.

People can keep saying we are too good to go down all year but the evidence at the moment ain't good is it?!

I wouldn't say we are too good to go down. Just that I believe that we have enough in our squad to comfortably survive.

A subtle difference.

Are the last 2 posts aimed at me? I don't think I've commented on any games I haven't been to. But I retain my right to have an opinion on the state of the club. Sorry for working abroad, I've been going since 1978 I think I'm allowed an opinion

They've cut the prices for a couple of upcoming games so why not wander along and have a butchers. And you owe me a pint.

You're spotcon. I've missed one match this season,Wycombe. I decided to go to Gateshead to see the grandkids instead, a no brainer. I was told I missed a good match. I don't know, I wasn't there. So no comment from me.

Thanks for the clarification mate and good points as usual. Thankfully I'm back home for the matches on 13th and 16th so hopefully we'll get 6 points
