Post subject: NOTTS COUNTY / POOLS PUBS
PostPosted: Sat Jan 30, 2016 5:42 pm
I've managed to persuade a bunch of Leicester fans (I live in Leicester) from my work to watch Hartlepool next week at the county game.

Where's everyone planning on drinking before hand? Hooters (for the incredible chicken wings and nothing else). Or any other suggestions?

Let me know, would be good to share a few drinks with everyone before the match.

Cheers
Dougie

I can't go cos I'm working in Manchester, otherwise I would have met up.

If you're after proper beer there's a few good pubs close to the station - Fellows Morton Clayton, Trip to Jerusalem, Canal House, Vat and Fiddle. Near Meadow Lane is the Navigation, but I don't know of they let away fans in. Over the river is the Trent Bridge Inn is great, Wetherspoons flagship pub.

Best avoid VAT and fiddle, heard Russ will be drinking there.

Cheers Gents. Works out pretty well for us as the leicester game is the early KO. Will be in the pubs around the ground from 12 onwards if anyone fancies a pint
