Last night the eldest borked up spectacularly from his top bunk onto the floor below, and a lot of his Lego got spattered with it.

I've given it a swill round in the bath but I'm not convinced it's all clean. I fancy putting it in the drawstring net bag our lass washes her bras in, and putting it in the washing machine.

Has anyone else tried this method or has any other ideas?

Should be OK in a mesh bag on mild cycle, though would remove any pieces with stickers on as probably will damage/wash them off.

Our lass washes the dishes. She whinges when she stands on lego in bare feet, so I don't think she would be happy if I put some 'in' her.
