He was white when he was with us, you mixing him up with someone?

I don't buy the no loyalty nonsense. Who turns down career progression? He might not have acted professionally to get his move but it sounded like Pools didn't either.

Just because you play football for a living you're entitled to improve yourself. I've never met anyone who turns down a salary increase. Fair enough he handled it badly but everyone messes up from time to time.

Very few people mention the promises which were broken to luke james, the investment in the team which was promised so he'd sign a new contract to ensure he didnt leave for nothing n we got a fee.

Not particularly scathing either, some think he wasn't quite good enough just as many suggest he wasn't given a fair run in his preferred position. He's just a kid so to sign him for half a million then only give him 21 starts seems a little short sighted. None of them question his work rate or attitude.

He's obviously had a tough year and will be probably be a little lacking in confidence but we all know he has ability.

People are making out if he bucked everyone's lass before he left, he spat his dummy out a bit because he had the chance of a big money move to a better club, who at 19 would say no to that? Who really cares that much about loyalty? If he scores the goals then it'll do for me.

there are far more important areas IMO we should be looking to sign. It's not like he's a prolific goal scorer so the other areas are much more needed for improvement.

albeit he scored 16 goals in a poor side but why does it seem all we are trying to sign is strikers. surely ronnie isn't that short sighted

In terms of his attitude on the field it was never in question, one of the most hard working players we've had.

The only question that should be asked is, is he better than what we've got. If that answer is yes then we should try to bring him back.

Is this even real?

The Evens thread is a complete wind up and Monkeybutt is very singular indeed, not "people." Likewise, only one poster out of about a dozen has been at all critical of Luke James.

Park the outrage bus, it's not needed.

As I remember it, including some information from his family, agreements were made and it was Hodcroft who reneged on the deal which pissed off everyone involved. Not sure why the lad is getting all the stick.

Ched Evens has though.

He turned out regularly for Rhyl while he completed his community service as well so match fitness will not be an issue.

He was sentenced to 5 years in 2012. He has done his prison time and is currently on license and could be recalled at anytime.

We really don't need another thread about Ched Evans, this one was made up by a crank who can't even spell Ched Evans who is renowned for making stuff up.

It's been done to death, hence nobody taking it seriously and taking the piss.

I was talking about Ched Evens, who to my knowledge has never played for Rhyl or done community service for smashing up a Roulette machine in Coral after losing his Giro in ten minutes due to him not being a real person.

Have you not read any of the other threads?

You haven't even read what I just posted so I doubt it.

I am not interested in talking about Ched Evans, my initial post was an attempted joke which had you have read any of the other threads before you tried to cause a bit more conflict you might have got.

That was a really quick edit as well  I replied to what you initially posted

We've all done it on here when it doesn't show up as an edit and you don't look as daft as your initial response would make you look.

I wasn't replying to you specifically either it was just a joke based on some of the stuff that has been posted earlier. But I'm sure you released that, hence your 'alteration'

Would he have to play with a collar on his ankle?

Excuse me for disregarding all this bollocks and keeping to what the thread is meant to be about but why would we need to sign Luke James. We have enough strikers on the books who couldn't score in a brothel with £50 notes sticking out of every pocket to bring in a jumped up short arse who has scored one in eighteen months.

Wheres these new signings?
Looks like these next few days are all about getting Brad Walker of the payroll while receiving about 50k.
Then there will be the promise of the unbudgeted income getting spent in the summer when more players are available.

Anyone waiting till monday to bear judgement is being over optimistic to put it mildly.

What's the point in making judgement beforehand? Wait til the window is closed and see how the squad stands. If there's been no improvement then boot off. If there has then great.

At a higher level, playing out of position by all accounts while also receiving public criticism from his employer.

He's young and has a decent record with us, I'd have him ahead of a Fenwick and Bingham for sure.

A big Audi with the licence plate J333 LUK is parked in the club car park.

Going by that photo Liddle tweeted to Loughlin the other day, James does drive an Audi. Guessing that will be going through today then.

I personally took the photo on facebook, definately luke James, stopped in front of me and had a five minute conversation with Brad Walker. Done deal by all accounts.

Walker has been invited back for another game if he had gone before the window closed we probobly would of signed someone permanently.

Walker is more likely to go on loan as far as I'm aware, seems wolves want to try before they buy.

well that would be ridiculously stupid to do.....loan to a team 2 leagues higher.

if that doesn't stink of cost cutting, god knows what does
