it is 'a' vote of confidence, not 'the' vote of confidence. Sounds like Ronnies going to be given sufficient coin to improve us. Make or break time Ronnie.

It doesn't matter how much money you have, the biggest problem is attracting players to a club hovering above the relegation zone and to a club in the far flung nether regions of the NE. Gordon Watson was a great signing but we were I believe paying for his air fares etc, is there another 'Flash' out there and would the club do the same again ?

I would say a good prospect in our division is Josh Windass.
Would Accy accept a 70k bid?

Teams can always say they are unlucky to lose some games and lucky to get something out of others. It is no coincidence that we keep losing games though - we deserve to be where we are. This is a big month for us, its time to see what Ronnie and the Board are made of...

I go to matches not expecting a win, it's got the stage of the bad old days where an away win used to come as something of a surprise. It's becoming a burden, the period where the manager and his coach are treading water and we're waiting for the inevitable.

Windass is one of the best prospects in league 2 but reckon he's valued at least £500,000.

Like many, I can't say how disappointed I am as to how the season has turned out so far.

It probably was just too much to ask to turn things around so quickly but I think we are all totally pissed off with season after season of disappointment and with so many new faces, I think it was reasonable to expect more.

I'm intrigued what this January investment will bring and what impact it has on the side. Surviving the drop is not good enough and if that is all RM achieve's, he has to go at the end of the season. No excuses.

Some valid comments there on why we shoudent be in another relegation battle.
Ronnie has stated on more than one occasion that the Chairman(s) have been brilliant with him when it comes to bringing new players in.
Managers are judged on Results and 11 points from last 18 games would normally be Sackable form.
He must have a silver tongue to of got that new long contract and every man and his dog knows thats why hes still manager and got the vote of confidence.

I don't remember much dissent at the point that he got that new contract. It was before this season had started, and his stock was still very high on the back of the job he'd done last season. If he'd just been given a new long contract last month I could understand there being some disgruntlement but not at at the time..

Exactly, the ones leading the charge in the summer to get him signed up are probably the same ones to slam the handbrake on, do a 180 º turn and demand his removal.

He was credited with the 'great escape' that's why, he now signed loads of players and it looks like we might need a another 'great escape' !
