I can see Cheltenham doing us over to be honest. Even if Carson has a blinder.

Add to that the fact that ex-loanie Marvin Morgan plays for Havant then it means it's even more of a walk over.

I mean, it's not like an ex-Pools player, who wasnt exactly brilliant for us and was unpopular in many peoples view, would come back and score is it???

Nothing to see here, round 2 here we come

Silly me, I was a bit glass half-empty there. Let's hope it is one of the games chosen to broadcast live.

Cant remember the last time we failed to beat a minnow in the cup. Might not have even ever have happened.

Awful draw for Ronnie Moore. Away to Gillingham or Coventry and it's zero expectations and not too much disappointment if we go out.

Home to non-league opposition? That's not a potential banana skin Ronnie - it's a land mine.

The way we are playing at present , as long a team turn up whoever the league status can you see us scoring more, than the opposing team , thats a bit optomistic

I was there when we played Frickley.......we beat them 9-1.
We have played non league opposition on 378 occasions and won them all. To be fair we have needed a few replays to do it but our average goals per game in replays against non league is 7.9835.
Based on those stats Cheltenham have no chance. I'd forecast 2-2 at half time with us running out winners by an 8-2 margin.
We will get Arsenal in round three and, after Sheff Wed lend us their strip we will win 3-0.

Is this the face book page?

Didnt realise so many were that dumb.

The nearest any non league team got to beating pools was Kettering, and even then we beat them 6-1.

I remember former Poolie Mark Cooper coming up here twice with Tamworth and Kettering and leaving with his tail firmly between his legs. I'm sure in one of the games we scored double figures, my memory is foggy it could have even been both.

Anyone remember Hereford away when it was on the telly? Watched it in the pub. Every time I went to the bar or for a piss I missed one of our goals.

I remember Flinders spotting the keeper off his line and scoring twice in the 97 minute. Hellish.
