I wouldn't say he never looked up to it he had loads of talent and on his day he was capable of being the best player on the pitch. He day was way too infrequent though. But in terms of technical ability he was a good player.

Saw about three games were he was excellent. And about twenty three when he was barely in the game. That's why he's playing at that level. I'm Bury scattered him soon enough. Yet another talent gone to waste through lack of application or desire or whatever.
