perhaps they need baggy tracksuits and £90 trainers to get away from the police quicker after they've just nicked a car or mugged an old lady.

We were organising a game of ahem rugby for a muckabout a couple of years ago. I went in GT Sports and asked where their rugby shirts were.

'Well we've got replica International shirts.'

'No I just want a rugby shirt to play a game of rugby in.'

'PLAY rugby????!!!!!!!!!'

You should see SportWorld at Dragonville, Gilesgate, you can't get moved for people who wouldn't know a sporting event if it smacked them in the face mainly Sherburn Road-Enders. Very amusing to see a wifey 25 clem plus clutching her tabs and lighter in one hand pasty in the other buying trainers/sweatshirts etc.

I always get my kit from StartFitness where the two lads in there are runners themselves and very knowledgable or Durham City sports who provide actual sportswear for the students. Or I purchase online.
