Yeh I'm going to. Fancied a little golf break in Devon with the Pools game as the "highlight". Not adverse to a night out in Exeter either...

Two of the Exeter Trust lads are coming to our house on Friday for their tea, paid for by The Trust. THEN, they are CARRYING ME to Teesside Airport on their shoulders. Plane to Exeter takes off 9am after a sumptuous Full English Breakfast (inc. Champers). Note, this is NOT paid for by The Trust. Gaz C. has shelled out for that.

Exeter Lyons Corner House for Lunch, Brown Windsor, Meat and Two Veg, Spotted Dick and Custard prior to a bottle of Port, a Truckle of Vintage Cheddar and a pot of Gentlemans Relish (free).

Carraiges to St James Park at 2pm, guided tour, then the match.

Ritz and Cracker Barrel Cheese at Half Time plus Tesco Finest Coffee.

Gonna be great. All free of charge, AND I get paid £100 for my time out of Trust Funds.

Fuckin' ELISH day.

Anyone remember the flight to Exeter?

Think Taity scored in a 2-1 defeat. Got invited into the directors' box after the game.

Gibson was top company! A cross between Blakey from 'on the buses' and her out of Hi-De-Hi.

The Andy Saville hand-fart sketch on the flight home was hilarious. And we emptied the plane's alcohol supply.

Be good to see these trips resurrected............fan pays for a player............

Sounds great, make sure to post regular updates including what time you go for a piss and what colour it is etc. preferably on a website and not Facebook.

Fucking disgraceful use of Trust fiunds. You should be ashamed.

No wonder some people kick off about it. Appalling.

Even if you are joking its still not right. And should be reported as such.

Trust members joking about the trust is worse than trust members getting freebies out of the trust.

Shocked

Appalled

Upset

Going to join the FDE

Anyone else need picking up in the gold plated Rolls Royce? Or shall we use trust funds to pay for one each?

I'm already there.

I flew down last Saturday after the post match massage at Wycombe. It was seemed a long flight seeing as it was only a couple of hundred miles. Mind you, we did stop off at Galleries Lafayette in Paris to get me a new rig out for the game. Expensive but covered by Trust funds so no worries.

On Friday I reckon I'll be getting a bit bored with this hotel, the cheek of it by the way, its only 4 star and no swimming pool! Fortunately I am going to a party at the players houses with all of their wives Chip, no just the captain. No idea why I need to take my car keys as I'm getting there by limousine. Oddly I have also been asked to pick up a goldfish bowl on the way.

After the game I reckon I'll just slum a lift in the Jet Ranger with you lads.

It's a nice touch by the club to let the trust pick the team on Saturday as well, let's get our heads together at some point. How about Friday night around 7pm? Meet in the lobby of the Atlantis The Palm hotel in Dubai? We've got plenty of silly peasants money left to cover the trip.

I like the away end. We've got so few away terraces left these days and I have a fondness for those few that remain. I would rate Exeter as one of my favourites in the division, not one of the worst. But that's me. Twenty five quid is still a pisstake.

Sorry MJ but got to disagree with you here, I am absolutely an 'anorak' when it comes to old grounds and terraces but the Exeter one is just bizarre.

I have stood on it probably about 6/7 times over the years and yet I noticed on my visit about 5 years ago that they seemed to move the pitch away from the terrace by about 10 feet, I assume due to some crowd issues in games where fans were getting too close to players sctatchinghead

You are now so far away from the pitch you feel detached from the match. Maybe it's just me.

Unless you have a Hip Flask of course, just ask Dawlish bbolt

It does further confirm how great and quite unique our own ground is with both seated stands, covered terracing and mixed terracing and sweated stands

I always thought there was a funny smell coming from the seats behind me at the match, I didn't realise that they make the seating area smell bbolt bbolt

Ronnie says he will be happy with a draw.
I know its better than a defeat but surely he should be saying we going for the 3 points unless its a tactical quote!
