Preston have signed two Championship strikers in the transfer window which leaves Jordan Hugill, currently suspended after being sent off, way down the pecking order. Do we try to get him in the loan window or do we need a winger and midfielder as priorities.
Although we have four decent strikers, as Neil Warnock would say, you can never have enough goal scorers. I would love to see him back at Pools and Tish with him.
Then lets see if we can make wingers of Oyenuga and Nelson Addy

Wishful thinking, Tish has had a few appearances for Reading so I don't think we stand a chance. I think if Reading did want to loan him out they would probably prefer him in league one, same with Hughill. I think we have very good options up front and isn't an area of concern to recruit for.

Both thought they were better than league 2 and have so far proved they are. Both were great loan signings for us, really liked Hugill, very intelligent player with an edge to boot. Think Oates was hoped to be similar sort of player but miles apart. As Joe says, strikers least of our worries. As for the 2 wingers, both conference standard at best IMHO.

I think the sooner people realise that we won't get Tshibola and Hughill back the better. We've got plenty options up front and Magnay seems to be doing well in the CDM role. Personally I think we could be doing with a left back and give Carroll a chance on the left wing where he could be a handful to the opposition defence, also would track back too. A solid central midfielder would also be handy.

Also need to remember that we still are a fairly new squad so Ronnie and the players will still be getting used to how to play best together, I'm not really worried about this season, we will be safe, and safety is key, then build on a right push to next season.

Oates has potential, but agree is no Hughill.
As for wingers,we've a decent left winger in Connor Smith.
Haven't seen Kudos, but Ebby is this season's Niall Rodney.

Heard a rumour today that we are in for winger Adam Hammill who was released by Huddersfield and midfielder Keith Southern from Fleetwood.

Not sure how credible it is like, the bloke who told me said he'd seen them on the 689 in their Audi's and one had Micky Rae driving for him

I like Oates, he played really well yesterday on the right, plays with heart and passion, goes a long way, just needs an end product!
