from the chairman we can still have a bloody good season! We have had a decent start but we need a couple more quality signings or season long loan signings with experience and bottle to help the younger players along. Still believe Sir Ronald of Hartlepool will lead us into a top seven finish this season

Cant see Ronnie getting much backing this season as HODCROFTS golden handshake wont of been done on the cheap.

a couple of good loanies and 442 will give us a better dimension in defence and attack.

Ken will have kept the final James payment n 1 thou worth of season ticket sales.

It's a small price to pay to get rid of him but it does restrict our spending this season a bit.

Depends what u call backing replacing freebies with freebies and keeping the wage bill more or less the same.
I,d say its shrewed management by Ronnie repairing the damage Cooper created.

On a plus side we 6th top and 7points above relegation.

From memory , we started yesterday with 8 players that he has signed. I think theres about 13 or 14 players on the books at the moment that he has signed this year. You can hardly claim the new owners havent backed him.

I dont disagree that a couple more in on loan wouldn't improve things, but we shouldnt be in a position where one midfield player getting injured half way through a game costs us 3 points.

We've replaced 10 with 11, I reckon budget wise, we're very similar to last year.

Still not overly convinced about these new owners. The amount of turnstiles open at the Millhouse end yesterday was rather strange considering it was bound to attract a few extra fans. If this was IOR, there'd be people banging on about cost cutting.

If the new owners have any intentions of improving us, they should allow Ronnie the money for 2 or 3 of decent Loanees, because on the back of the last 3 matches, we probably need them.

As far as I can tell, the only new money coming in has been via Seneca.

what about all the money IOR were allegedly taking out of the club? Lot of people on here who were very vocal about it.

We are still short in my opinion we need a ball winner in the middle, when Magnay went off we look really weak. We need somebody to take over from Duckworth cos he has been poor and a decent winger.

The difference financially in my view is that RM has been allowed to spend what the club can afford. A subtle difference between that and signing what the club can afford after it has financially subsidised IOR.

We are doing ok. Better than last season so thats a step forward but we haven't turned into world beaters. We look to have a mid table squad not a bottom three squad. Perhaps next season we can take another step forward.
