Cant argue with that.

Fenwick will be more effective coming off the bench later in game.

Think we need to start working on the defence again. They could easily have had 6 today

Defence was rubbish in pre season and nothings changed. Got away with murder in the first three games and now the luck has run out . Lets see how ambitious our owners are and see if there willing to allow more signings at the back or just watch the season implode.

Highlights how weak our midfield is outside of the first choice players. Still need a centre mid and a winger.

Over run yet again I'm not sure how many more times we have to witness it before something is done. Scunthorpe should have been a warning sign to what was to come.

We won our first 4 games conceding just one, despite the warning signs in pre-season it has only been the past few games where we have looked like conceding goals for fun. Whilst I agree that we've rode our luck at times, the real signs that we are going to struggle defensively have only really shown after our little running streak finished.

Today Carlisle deserved to win on balance, they had a lot of chances.

September looks a very difficult month for us. Can't see many points coming out of the games there.

Morcambe could have scored six against us. York should have had 4 in the first half. I'm not convinced we were particularly sound in any game. We made bounmouth reserves look like Barcelona and Scunthorpe pre season look like one of the greatest ever teams to grace our pitch.

Theres no quality balls for our forwards as the wing back players cant take players on.
Time to play 2 up top and get 2 decent wingers in(on loan) or give Conner Smith a chance.

Ronnie just said on radio he wants to see more of the wing backs going forward!

Midfield is going to be weak link this season, it has not improved since last season. Especially considering Magnay was brought in as a defender. On the positive side we will score goals, so should be OK.

Agreed, the midfield is pants but the biggest problems lie at the back - neither Harrison nor Boyce could cope with Ibhere today - he bullied them both and they allowed him to get away with it. I don't know what Duckworth was doing for most of the game and I suspect neither does he - and Carrol flatters to deceive. The sum of the above is that unless RM sorts the defence out we will eventually return to the realm of the deadmen.

CUFC are no great shakes but they are a big physical side of the type that RM has built and succeeded with in the past. Where were his so-called 'leaders' today when the going got tough? And Nelson-Addy'd display isn't worthy of comment - wtf convinced RM that he was worthy of a professional contract?

Funny how a lot of our players have got injuries or knocks already. Hope that's nothing to do with RM marching them all over the North Yorkshire moors.

I was impressed with Carlisle actually. Had some big athletic players in their midfield and Ibehre was a constant menace.

I'm hoping we don't end up trying to pin point two teams that are maybe slightly shitter than us come February when relegation once again becomes a genuine possibility.

Can't disagree
Thought first half they are never going to score
Once magnay went off we had no defensive midfielder and they just walked through us
Back t what happened last season which actually shows how well the defence did last year to get us out of the crap

We need a good hard tackling midfielder

Think carolll is ok going forward but cannot defend
