surprised to hear that like. cant remember seeing him play for us but i thought hed struggled in the non-league and packed it in to open that restaurant. according to his wiki page hes a former footballer current heavyweight boxer

Seen him play a few times since he left you lot and he was gash each time.

No matter how gash he was he was a far better footballer than restaurant manager. I had a meal a his place when he had it and it was appalling fayre. It's a franchise as well the one in Boro is alright if you like that sort of thing.

I get the feeling the lad is a bit deluded.
