Who is holding back based on what we know / have seen invested so far and if you are, what will it take before you shell out

I would if I lived closer to home

I desperately tried to get a move back to the North East this year - job wise

I even left it as late as possible despite being made redundant, having 2 kids and a third on the way - unfortunately nothing was forthcoming and I had to apply elsewhere

I have a job in Birmingham - and will get to a couple of home and away games this year - so circumstances have restricted my season ticket ownership - bollocks - really want to be at every home game.

Obviously new season ticket holders who want a seat have to wait till next wednesday and there could be quite a lot of them going by the xtra fans who attended the back end of last season.

Plus there will be hundreds of fans who will pay there final installments next month.

As for fans hanging back why?
new owners said they will back ronnie with these 3 more players he wants plus loanies.

Reducing the matchday prices.

Tieing down one of the best managers we ever had to a long term contract.

Realising the importance of the fans. ( I,m sure they will recognize the TRUST and want to work with us.)

Wanting to do a deal with the council about ownership of the ground.

So far so good for me will be renewing me ticket on monday.

I will certainly be getting a season ticket in July very positive stuff from the new chairman. I will be shocked if we don't sell 3000 plus now.

Not bothering now due to work .. Will go to a few pay on the day tho...

got mine yesterday

In no rush to get mine, chances are I will get one but still got another 5 weeks til deadline.

Couple of my family members are getting s/t's tomorrow (pay day). I reckon the sales will hit a spike this weekend.

Getting mine next week or week after. Might buy my worst enemy one anarl.

there's absolute no need to rush into buying season tickets. the deadline which is approaching on tuesday is to keep the same seat, not really a deadline as such. I'd say it's encouraging but I haven't got mine as want to see a bit more transfer activity first.

Most likely will get one, but have another 5/6 weeks yet before worrying.

I guess where I was coming from is there was a lot of talk of people boycotting season tickets until IOR were gone a few mths back and with the new lot on board now, wondered if anyone had any doubts still. That way, the club could see what the concerns were.

Interestingly, i have been very suspicious about the whole thing (very unlike me as I'm usually very gullible ) but that Q&A has just about put to bed any doubts I had.

Sales doing really good.
Over 500 sold last week.
Should go through the 2000 mark on wednesday when new applicants get the chance to buy a seat ticket.

If we can sell another 500 this week we will of sold an average of 300 a week keep that average up around that rate and we would sell around 3200

It's likely I won't be getting one.

A lot of promises and good talk by the chairman but lets see what actions they carry out. Obviously the manager and team are most important and be nice to see good quality signings when we kick off. Cant argue too much with what they have done so far though reduced match day prices which lets be fair is just common sense, brought in players early this year and spoke about getting Ronnie on a longer term deal. One major plus point so far is communication with the fans.

Anybody got an update on how many season tickets sold?

Should be going thru the 2000 mark today.

Needs to be over 2000 only 4 weeks left to get them and no doubt sales will be pretty slow for a few weeks now until the last week or so.

think you worrying a bit too much if not over 2000 today.....this weekend is first saturday since they been on 'general' sale.

I'm sure we'll hit same as last season

I'm pretty sure the sales are up on this time last year considering the price has gone up a fair bit that is really encouraging for me. I reckon we'll sell at least 3,500. Added to the fact you can walk up to the turnstile now and get change from 20 snodgers to get in its all good.

Still 4 weeks to deadline no reason why we cant hit 3700/800.

Getting mine tomorrow, seeing us sign some decent players and a takeover it's all looking very promising....also I'm getting mine courtesy of the National Lottery thanks to a £1k scratch card win the other day. Although technically that makes me a shitter fan because I'm not paying for it with my own money or taking a loan out to pay for it.

I found an old one I scratched a while back in my car which I forgot to claim for £5, cashed that in for another one and won £10 so bought a £10 card and won £1k, couldn't believe it.
