Wonder if he is on trial with pools from this week as Scott Fenwick just tagged him in a tweet with magnay and Richards about picking them up at 7 tomorrow to go to Catterick. Ex gateshead keeper. Could just be putting 2 and 2 together of course!

Seems strange they released him. Looks pretty much ever present in last 3 seasons and with games for England c side. Papers certainly surprised he was released.

When I've seen Gateshead on TV thr commentators always say he's one of the best at that level and he makes some great saves. I was amazed to see the heed let him go and get an ex-loid instead.

I'd defiantly give him a chance

Never heard of the guy but this again shows how the club are turning the corner ie. Looking at a very experienced keeper as back up to Carson.

If he is any where near as good as has been indicated, he won't want to sit on the bench for buttons and so must be paying him decent money.

Really can't wait for the season to start, although Stevenage is the first game for me as I again miss the first 2 weeks of the season due to hols bbolt

What has he done wrong like?
