There argument seems to be based on these guys coming from the south and a few crooks came from the south so they must be linked?

Their is quite a few liquidated companies associated with one of the owners of our club now. I think its good that fans of other clubs are keeping a close eye on things here. The new owners need to provide some answers hopefully they start tommorow. What will be nice to here is that there's cash available for players and not just freebies all the time and whether they have good contacts to bring money into the club.

Or something similar.

If so, those deriding the trust, and they know who they are, will have to come grovelling to the trust at some point.

It's a guessing game. I''m prepared to give them time because what else can we do? but my question for Mr Coxall and Mr Goldberg is why do they know Osker Heiman and does he have any involvement.

Tick tock.

Hopefully some of the journalists at today's press conference have the backbone to sound him out then.

Probably 99% of football clubs owners will have a dodgy background.

Hopefully theres plenty of positives this afternoon when they talk to the press.

The only question I have is why.

I have no concerns about the ground, its owned by the council and therefore, us the community.
Yes there is an ACV application going through and that should be finalised this week. I submitted it about three months ago.

What I don't get is the why and if we do have a face to face Trust/Club, it is definitely a question I will ask directly and be quite dogged about. I'm minded to support them and work with them but we do need to have the big question answered.

In all seriousness, why would any individual / business want to invest in a league 2 club with average gates of circa 3,500. Better the devil you know springs to mind.....

I do hope the press conference answers more questions than it asks confised

Question to add to the list on the other thread, very simply 'do JPNG have any issue with the Trust applying for community asset status in respect of The Vic?

The answer should be a straight no.

They're a bit late if they do. The decision is expected today and there is no legal reason it should not go through.

Who's connected to the new lot? I couldn't find any links to TMH apart from being from roughly the same area

I think the general consensus is we should be cautiously optimistic, welcome them at the same time seek explanations as to why a small company with no links to the area sought to take over the club.

I think its also right they give some sort of explanation regarding their individual histories. Some may think we have no right to ask for that explanation, but given how much we as fans put into the club financially, I believe we do have the right. Collectively I believe we will be the biggest investors in the club again this season.

I have yet to pull out for my season ticket, and pay the big increase expected, I'd like some assurances from the new owners before I do, and hopefully these will be provided this week.

I cant see the journalists asking anything we need to hear the answers to. The first questions most would have asked Peter Harris was who are you? whats your history? etc but it was never asked.

Do we know if the HUFC that JPNG have bought is debt free? When TMH were sniffing around, Ken seemed to have written off the debt, I would be keen to know if this is still the case, and if so has Ken fooked off or is he still lurking as he has an interest - ie the 'debt'.

The ACV is crucial - well played John and all for pushing this through - and the new owners willingness to sit down and talk to the Trust in meaningful discussions is also vital.

These acronyms are getting intense.

IAE being formed right now.

A turnover of £3 million.
So there should of been £1.5 million available for players wages under FFP rules.
I dont think the players wage bill come anywere near that figure.

In my book Hodcroft took quite a bit of profit out of the club these last two seasons before he left.

Sorry if this is bleeding obvious but once granted, what will that provide exactly sctatchinghead I assume guarantees the ground can only be used for football, a covenant as such and if so, who grants it and can it be overturned if say the new lot got hold if the ground sctatchinghead

Any sale of the ground must be approved by the holder of the ACV first I believe.

This new bunch seem a dodgy as fluck...

I just spent a morning browsing company names and such and it seems that JPNG has two registered owners.
Peter Goldberg, based in Essex
Zena Young, based in Dubai.

PG has a string of both current and failed companies of which he is either the owner or director. The most valuable of these appears to be worth 30,000. In total it seems that his businesses have a "cash at bank" value of about 74,000. Most of these ventures are linked with Samantha Anne Mullaly, with who he seems to be playing a very strange game of director musical chairs.
His main Companies are:
JPNG
Blue Strawberry Ltd
Nylon Cactus Ltd

Nylon Cactus also owns a bunch of companies registered to Stephen Leslie Taylor, mostly called TaylorMade... (this and that) and STADN, featuring juvenile websites and underdeveloped business schemes.

but there are many others that seem to be periferal involving him as director (as well as SAM)

The face up front, Gary Coxall, came from the Third Dimension Group, a company he started in 2003, listed as Architectural Activities. It had a net worth of about 12,000 when dissolved a couple of years ago. Gary is pure huff and bluff. No substance or real experience.

The Dubai connection is opaque to say the least. The two names that have appeared as if from nowhere are Zena Young and Zena Carter, the formed is listed in Linked In as the Owner of JPNG.

I'm wondering how a bunch of cowboys with a history of failed enterprises and shifty operations suddenly gained a foothold in Dubai. There is absolutely no prior evidence of links to the Middle East.

Everything points to a scam ...

Still as concerned as the day it was announced. Wouldn't surprise me if a councillor was offered a place on the board to smooth the sale of the ground through

Unlike with TMH, I'm pretty sure the Hodcroft ship has already sailed.

The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five-pound note

.... hmm now why does that come to mind I wonder?
