Such a sack of bollocks as this:

Tony Blair said: "When people see the new brand, we want them to be inspired to make a positive change in their life."

Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell said: "It takes our values to the world beyond our shores, acting both as an invitation and an inspiration."

What are they on about??

The abomination that is the scribbled Olympic logo.

Tell you what, give the people their 400,000 quid back, that'll inspire them to make a positive change. Why didn't they break the mould and call it 'UK2012' instead of London 2012?? At least that might have made people all over the country feel involved instead of just robbed.

I reckon the designers have done a great job - an over-priced, ambiguous, chaotic, london-centric logo that will "change as time goes by" .... sounds like a perfect representation of the whole sorry mess.

Wonder what they could do with "The Town's Club" ???

Half the price aswell! 400k for the logo there using is shocking! It looks awful and 2012 is made out using dodgy shapes too

Even France 98's World Cup logo is better :grin:

I'm not sure whether that purple one looks like two people lifting something, with the second person's head behind a box or summat. Either that or a dodgy sex act, at least the bloke on the left seems to be enjoying himself.

I thought that it was a badly drawn nazi symbol painted pink, the colours are shit so is the logo. And someone is seriously taking the piss if that cost 400k.

Although you can't knock it if its having a positive impact on so many peoples lives........
