Winning the league 2 title after just 2 seasons of trying, with one of the smallest average attendances and playing budget.

I am guessing the budget size but they certainly haven't mad any big signings or have any big names that I am aware of

Surely if they can do it, there is a 'model' for pools to follow

Not the first time this has happened. Shows it can be done. Bury as well. They get Flitcroft we got Cooper. Strange how our big name managers are always fookin crap.

I wouldn't be to sure either of the two teams mentioned have small playing budgets. Bury were start of season favourites due to large investment. Burton have a massive sponsorship with Parrelli.

Bury have the biggest budget in the division. I'd be surprised if Burtons was one of the smallest as well.

Just shows what happens when teams like burton n bury get promoted by showing a bit of ambition.
I bet they never got over a million quid in during the transfer windows as well.

Burton have fantastic corporate facilities, which generate huge amounts of income for the club on a daily basis.

This far outweighs what they get through the turnstiles.

I'm not keen on laying the boot into Hodcroft BUT when it comes to hospitality and catering at pools they are badly letting the club down, should be raking it in, they treat the fans who aren't on the gravy train with contempt in this area
