Why do the same individuals Barnes included keep bringing things up about black players, Sol Campbell included, they all have big chips on their shoulders.

Because this is why we have racial hatred amongst people, stop talikg about it and it will go away.

I don't believe for 1 minute that a guy won't get a managers job in football because he's black.

Yes, and thats speaking from experience and the ex offender's I have worked with in my job over the year's, local and national press breed hatred and thats a fact.

I don't know about the others but as far as John Barnes is concerned, the answer is much simpler.

The question is though, how many are actively seeking employment as a coach / manager? How many are interviewed and rejected in favour of a white coach / manager? Until we know these figures how can we say either way.

We are 20 or 30 years down the line since black players became commonplace. It stands to reason that they'll take time to come through. Mind you, all of this is anecdotal, like has been said, wheres the data?

John Barnes isn't a particularly black name is it? He doesn't get a managers job because there are several better experienced candidates ahead of him whenever he goes for one. He's trying to get one of ninety two jobs, the chances are slim for a guy with no track record of doing a good job at coaching or managing.

I don't believe for one second that he's not got a managers job because he's black.

Not in the area I work. In the scientific field I would say around two out of three I talk too on a daily basis are not white or even from uk and that's from York down to Stevenage and everything east.

Presumably because he is a decent bloke and a good manager.

Would I want to appoint Someone like Barnes or Campbell who play the racism card at every opportunity? Probably not cos if I sacked either of them they would probably play it again.

I am also sick of Barnes and Campbell...... have either of them applied for a managers job I wonder? Was Barnes in charge at Celtic and absolutely garbage at it. I believe they do play the race card at every opportunity. Their colour never stopped them earning millions on the pitch or on tv after their career ended or in the media since. Really we have come a long long way regarding this issue and I am very cagey about their agenda.

The issue I have with John Barnes is he's not credible, HE has not got a job, because HE is black, therefore ALL black managers are discriminated against.

Apart from Jimmy Flloyd Hasselbank, Chris Hughton, Chris Ramsey, Chris Powell.

If boards don't have black members that's probably because the individuals are not interested. Some clubs have more foreign players mainly black players than English or Caucasian players. I just don't get this slant. It's just mischief.....Barnes and Campbell were much lauded players and no one cared what colour they were why now?

To be fair though he only actually had a few months as a manager at a massive club like Celtic, you'd have thought if he's been applying for job after job he might have got another go somewhere since? Someone must have thought he had something about him to give him such a high profile job in the first place.

Is my memory decieving me actually and is all of the above untrue? He was manager of Tranmere for a bit as well wasn't he!? Cancel the first paragraph he's just shit! You can understand the paranoia though.
