He's a bloke who has done a fantastic job with the tools available. If only he had better quality tools.

Under IOR we are going out of the league, just a question of when. I'm sure 99% of us thought we'd already be relegated by now, the fact we are still in a relegation fight is largely down to Ronnie. Unfortunately unlike Jesus he cannot turn water into wine.

With three games to go its still in our hands. How the fuck is that so. Ronnie has given us hope. He is a magnificent manager. We will see that next season when a bigger club poaches him.

He's done well but he's 107 years old. He is not going to get poached.

Lets be honest ronnie is trying to polish a turd and yes i agree sometimes tactically its looks strange but what the fuck has he got besides Colin Coopers crocks who basically have contributed fuck all and don't give a flying fuck.
People keep saying about IOR however we have one of the biggest squads in this league but we have signed utter shite Accrington proved tonight they are a good side and looked like they could of stepped up a gear and we just don't seem to have any spark its all just huff and puff and i just hope ronnie does not go back to 442 cos the players are just not good enough to play that system at least with 352 we are not getting hammered and we did win 4 on the trot.

I'd like to see him still at the helm next season, no matter where we're playing. He's done a good job in my opinion. Like billygoat said, I bet the majority of us would've thought we'd be down and out by now if it wasn't for him.

Moore has signed eight or nine loan players.......but most have been recalled and most have been a success. Crikey Mourinho or Wenger couldn't manage under these restrictions.

The defensive set up in the first half last night worked so poorly that it's hard to remember Pools were getting results with it less than a month ago. Bombing so many high balls in from the back was pathetic - Hugill battled away but Franks got bypassed and the midfield three were so far back in our half that every header out by the Accies fell to a red shirt. Zero worthwhile attacking contribution from the wing backs and both could have been hooked at half-time.

Time for 4-3-3 I think with Hugill, Fenwick and Jordan Jones up front. At least that way there's the potential to score the odd goal, though to be honest a lot of Pools' general play was still rank in the second half - Accrington passed better, moved better and defended better than us all game. What the fuck was going on with all the mistimed jumps and headers from Pools?

we haven't turned into brazil all of a sudden jesus.

we are 3rd bottom and probably there due to ineptitude of the 2 teams below us so these poor performances aren't out of the ordinary. It's still in our own hands and people constantly point out how shit tranmere/cheltenham are but suddenly think they are going to become better than us. All 3 of us are shit, it's all down to who's the most shit out the 3 and how we only need to be equal to them 2.

I like ronnie but i sometimes get the impression he's a bit of a throw back, and also a bit of a footballing dinosaur.

The games moved on and you can't just be organised n pump balls all game, even at league 2 with the knowledge available to coaches teams press, n have specific tactics which you could see accrington had, it didnt take them long to work out dan jones was our weak link.

We need to be more open to playing football, not just hit n hope n try n get a corner or a throw in.

I'd say ronnies a good motivator, can kick a team up the arse, but when it comes to tactics i think he's lacking a bit.

Cant fault him if we stay up mind.

We simply can't play against sides that get at us and deny us space. As soon as we are pressed we don't have the players to do anything constructive with the ball other than play the sideways pass or boot it aimlessly.

I think ronnies got to use all his experience and drill it into the players to get there mental strength right.
I think the last two games more than a few players have been very negative resulting in the ball going backwards and sideways.
If they not proffessional enough to handle a bit of pressure then they wont be playing league football again.

I did see him. Given that our midfield went missing for large parts and persisted in passing back to our three cornerbacks who were under pressure for considerable periods anyway I thought Jones did well.

Yes I saw him
He set the goal up with a quality pass didnt he

All the defenders made mistakes as they were under pressure
The lad backed into him for the header. Shit happens

Mirf was behind and didn't make the second challenge

I disagree, the problem the last few years is we have been trying to play like Real Madrid and failed miserably. 442 or 532, long ball or passing game you need the players to perfect it, we havent got them, end of.
