Only 5 minutes of extra time this match. We must have played more than anyone else, at least its not double figures this week.

I think we'd all have taken 2-2 before the kick off given that Carlisle and Cheltenham both lost and Tranmere drew.

shame we could go on and win it considering we were 2-0 up but sounds like it was a very good point.

Have to take that one. A really necessary point given the results around us. Topsy turvy day!

This is one of our 'tough' games ticked off, so a point is a good one.

Charlie Wyke you twat!

That ridiculous winner we handed Burton is playing on my mind now. We should never have lost that game.

Luton; 7 defeats in a row lost from 2-0 up today. They're as shit as we were earlier in the season at the minute!

Long journey, one of our most difficult remaining matches, brought a point back with us, still outside the bottom two...

I call that a result. Many pints of Bombardier about to descend my gullet.

Would have taken that beforehand, slightly disappointing haven been 2-0 up. Still, five games unbeaten and onwards to Monday.

Still need to just focus on ourselves. Decent point today, even if disappointed to lose a 2 goal lead. As has been said, we'd have crumbled earlier in the season. We go again on Monday in another tough game. Let's keep fighting. NSD

Looks like they will at this stage bury 4 points off with game in hand, Plymouth just inside playoffs

Gutted we didn't win after being 2-0 up but some positives Newport is possibly one of the tough ones out of the way we have somehow reached 40 points with 6 games to go hopefully York won't be as desperate for points now when we play them. Were starting to open a bit of a gap on Cheltenham and there goal difference is disappearing on us. I think we probobly need to beat Southend now and really drag some teams into it.

Let's be honest earlier in the season we wouldn't have been 2-0 to the good in the first place at a team in the top six.

Newport's Twitter feed at half time said they were fortunate to only go in 1 behind and added that we looked a good side. Who'd have thought those words would be typed this season even only a few weeks ago!

None of our 4 on the bounce were against high flying teams. This game was an acid test and we responded present. I'm more than happy with that.

Obviously its disappointing not to win when your two up but I'd have taken a point before hand, it keeps us out of the bottom two and I think this was our hardest game of those remaining in theory. So on the whole it could have been better but in my gut I was expecting a defeat so could have been much worse. I'll take this, win on Monday and then its a great point.

We'd have struggled to get a two goal lead against a team in the bottom two with us. But I'd happily take the position we are in after a 2-2 draw today over what it could have been a month ago.

would've taken 2-2 before the match so happy with a point today. Apparently Marlon had one cleared off the line at the end?

Our mini revival has mainly come against teams that are not likely to get dragged into a relegation battle or teams who cant get promoted.
As it stands now only accrington have nothing to play for from our last 6 games this being the main reason why the bookies were offering generous odds for us to stay up before the cambridge game.

Theres that many different permutatjons on forecasting the ammount of points required to stay up.
50 Points shud be enough tho.
We could still get 50 points with defeats at york n carlisle and go down on g/d.

Its going to be the most exciting and nailbiting relegation battle ever for ALL teams involved.

One big advantage we have over the other teams is our fanatical supporters which could qhite easily be the difference between staying up or goin down.
Like Ronnie said a while back together we can do this.

Agree! It would be sensible to keep the gate prices down for the remaining home games and get( KEEP! ) the ground rocking! We are the 12th man!!

I'm glad you said "as it stands now". You might find for example that Luton are already out of the running by the time we play them. If they aren't out of the running, the chances are they got something at Tranmere, which also helps us.

We do need to keep playing at 100% ourselves of course.
