well I would have took that result all day long before game . what a bad time with regards there goals, I dont think Ronnie will be to happy in a professional context, but goo d result away.

Yep good result that and definitely would've taken it before kick off. Other results not bad either.

Things could have obviously turned out a lot better today but we are in a position were 3 wins and a draw should keep us up. A few weeks ago most of us would have settled for having to win 5 of the last 6 to stay in the league. It's now very much in our hands.

Looking at the run ins Cheltenham still have to play - Stevnage, Wycombe, Northampton and Shrews , you would have to think it will be difficult for them to get to even 46 points with that run in.

Tranmere still have to play - Luton, Bury, Southend and Plymouth all going for play offs with Bury possibly promotion..... Tough for them to get to 49 points with all them in the mix at the top.

Carlisle will need to get some good results in their next 2 games against Daggers and Accrington because Burton an Stenage away look difficult as does Plymouth at home.

On paper we have the best run in but also the most dangerous as defeats at York and Carlisle could really hurt.

Cambridge and Mansfield look out of it but a bad game or two could get their fans pacicking

Three wins and a draw will put us way, way out of danger. Not saying we shouldn't go for them or owt like.

Mr Moore has transformed us into a half decent div 4 side. We just have to keep playing like we are.

I wouldn't even bother looking at anyone else's run in, every team down the bottom will put a couple of wins together at some point. All it matters is that safety is in our own hands. Quality point today, especially as they sounded like a right bunch of cheating twats.

We were ok but not outstanding. Flinders was superb. 2 0 flattered us. Never had a shot on target in second half but we kept working. Ref was awful. Good management by Ronnie taking Harrison off he looked like a red card waiting to happen. Good point all things considered.

I thought we were very good for 40 minutes and then the energy levels fell a notch giving Newport space to pick a shot for the first. Second half we created very little, seemed overrun a little in the midfield. We could have nicked it at the death as Jordan Jones beat one defender and drew the second but failed to pick out either Franks or Hugill either side. Pools of old would have succumbed to a physical Newport side. Two good strikes from Newport for their goals. A good point won. I hope the energy levels can be replenished by Monday.

I'd heard this bollox for a long long time about how the Welsh are so ignorant to us English but I tell you what yesterday in both Newport and Swansea we couldn't have wished to meet such a welcoming, helpful, friendly and interesting bunch of people that covered a huge age range of both sexes....and I have no doubt we will come across the same today!!!!

Newport and Swansea both top cities with cracking people....I will definetly be visiting both again and not just for Football!!!!
