Overall a point was a good result at Newport.
It is very tight at the bottom and Pools will have to work hard to keep out of the bottom 2.
I'll take being in the same position after the York game and of course at the end of the season! :-D

Not if Tranmere and Cheltenham keep playing the way they have over the last 6 matches. If they improve, then yes the target will increase.
But looking at the form of the teams at the bottom, 46 should be enough at this moment!

Last season 50 points were needed - goal difference mattered

Season before 51 points were needed

I'll feel comfortable with 50 odd points.

Íf you think about it, to be comfortable with 50 points implies getting them like in the next three point three games. By which time we won't be looking at points we'll be looking at specific combinations of results.

I really wish you would resize these things.

I've done it for you and it took 30 seconds and now people can see what you're on about. Honestly, the attention span of a forum browser is about 5 seconds, they usually ignore stuff that they have to scroll around to see what it is.
