Even if it doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know:

Fantastic Article but nothing will change until all the of the gullible idiots who spend £60 a month (or whatever it costs) on Sky Sports boycott it because the "entertainment" on offer should be taken to Trades Description. Unfortunately they believe the hype shoved down their necks (generally by people who have their own snouts in the trough) that it is the best league in the world etc etc.

The facts given today about the average Premiership footballer earning £1.1M per year says it all. The joy of sport is competition and English football has been the best because of the pyramid it has and the strength in depth of the lower league clubs. Who wants to watch the same teams win everything every season and grow fatter on the proceeds?!

It is a great article. It really boils my piss to see the big clubs destroying our game. I cant see how it is ever going to be rectified though. No-one is going to tell Chelsea and manu U what they can and cant do.

The latest comment (at the time of writing) pisses me off,

"Unfortunately, the only cancer in British football is its antiquated obsession with the lower leagues.
This is not replicated in any of the major football nations and the injurious impact is there for all to see.
For decades the ability in this country has been spread too thin. "

As you say chaps an excellent article. The sad thing is it would only take a relatively small adjustment to the money coming into football from the Sky benefactors. If the figures quoted of a split in percentage terms of 90-7-3, was adjusted to something like 80-10-10, our game could flourish. The Premiership would benefit, as the 'lower leagues' would be stronger by producing new 'products' for them, and 'our' teams would be much stronger. The chances of the Rotherham, Wrexham and Boston situations arising would decrease, which should be better for football as a whole, and would reconfirm the overall strength of the league system in this country.

What a load of bollocks. Any 'pyramid' system has got to be stronger with as big a base as possible.

Hopefully one day it will all go *pop* tv moneywise. It probably wouldn't affect Pools in any way but the Man Utd's, Chelsea's and Newcastle's of this world would be in deep trouble
