I know it was only one game but I think Money has done us a favour by not letting us keep Bird.

I was thinking/hoping the same thing earlier in the week. Hugill has the potential to be a better player, although I certainly can't fault Bird's contribution while he was here, and he seemed to give a shit.

Just hope we can get a point from both these upcoming games now to keep the roll going.

I couldn't fault Bird either but Hugill looks a proper physical presence with 100% effort too and can't fault his touch or control.

I'd settle for 3 points from the next two to be honest.

Both are crunch games now. a point at Newport would be tremendous in the circumstances but the way the team is playing owt is possible.

Bird's work-rate was excellent but so was Hugill's today and he won a lot more headers and was a more physical presence than Bird. So, lets take the positives - great work by Ronnie to get someone decent in like Hugill at this late stage of the season.
