Did one of those predictor things last night - basically to see what kind of safety margin is needed and if teams at the bottom will take points of each other.

Looking at it, 51 points came out as the level needed for safety - so 4 wins from 7 still required.

Having said that Cheltenham, Cambridge and Mansfield seem on a dreadful run of form and Mansfield seem to be imploding - fighting amongst the fans and the team.

Anyone else have any ideas on what we will need to do?

tough games coming up, not safe yet - but mildly optimistic...

I had 47 as being enough based on the poor form of tranmere and Cheltenham.

All we need to do is not be any worse than the worst two clubs in the football league. The ones who are averaging less than a point a game. We don't need promotion or play-off form.
Not any more.

Hope so Mr B - I'll be happy with 2 points in the next two games - anything more will be a bonus.

would love it if York and ourselves pull out two wins in the next two matches - the game at their place will be a little more relaxed and enjoyable.

First time in ages we don't have to chase anyone but far too early to relax in any way.

We are top of the bottom three thanks to 4 wins against lower table teams. Nevertheless this has been a fantastic achievement. I think this was the easy bit. The hard bit starts on Friday. Good luck lads but if you play like you did yesterday we are in with a shout.

I reckon 2 wins and a couple of draws will see us safe. 3 wins will see me buying a round at my local!!!

I can see a Swindon-esque stitch up at Carlisle on the final day of the season with both teams getting the point they need to survive. 10 points should do it...

To be fair we play 2 in the playoffs, 1 just outside, 3 with us and a mid table. None are easy with all of them teams fighting bar one but I can still see us getting three wins in there. Going into these next two games, they'll be more scared than we are!

Have no fear and take it to them! York, Accrington, Exeter and even Luton the form they are in are for the taking

Yesterday we played a big strong physical side and they didn't really give us that many problems so now its in our own hands to stay up and i believe the team will improve over the coming weeks.
We carnt predict what will happen in the future how ever i bet Tranmere and cheltenham fans will be more fearful than we are at present

Agreed - But none of them were lower than us.
