I'm not sure why its on the basis that we stay up. Two companies working together.

If this is dependent on league status, then we stand to lose nearly 5 million if relegated (including loss of league monies etc). Surely now Bird has gone IOR must break into the kitty and get a couple of top notch loan players in this week. From a business view point this only makes sense.

On what basis?

For £4m they're going to want more than a couple of seats in the Mill House Stand.

It would be welcome but there are halfwits around who are making up rumours as they go along for their own amusement. Sensibility demands something a little more concrete than 'I'm hearing from the fat bloke down the pub'

Cant imagine Niramax putting that sort of money in and allowing Ken and Russ to remain at the helm, they would surely want to work with successful people ?

Or at least legally tight stipulations on what the money is to be used for. Otherwise it'll be just another Payday for the chuckle brothers.

Ken wont go without a fight, he's been here before, he's had chance to sell and he still wants to stay chairman for 2 years.

This is absolute rubbish. Not a grain of truth in it.

Neither business strike me as big enough to shot in a slack couple of million each.

Also the only if we stay up bit doesn't ring true, surely if we go down buying the club off Hodcroft becomes easier?

I could see a lot of businesses investing in Pools but I can't see anyone simply handing over cash. They will want a shareholding or in truth for this level of money, ownership.

Mind you, it's all conjecture because there is absolutely nothing anywhere from either of these companies to say that they are even discussing investing and £4m is a big lump to either of these firms. As for why then would only invest if Pools stay up? Well that really is a puzzling statement.

I will work on the assumption that its complete nonsense dreamed up by someone who has been drinking too much cough syrup, or just wants to spread these rumours for his own chubby little reasons, until I see anything from them that says otherwise.

Please don't get me too excited!

I'd half expect anyone willing to invest money to sum of £4m will want an active say in the running of the club and would hope one condition would be oust Hodcroft & Green.

Until anything is concrete, I will agree with others who believe its a dream.

I would think Niramax would have a better chance of buying the ground judging by all the the Rubbish Mountains the Council have give them planning permission for round the town, good turn deserves another !
