It's a bit late but welcome nevertheless, I get the feeling that certain people have been trying to get this done for a little while. Well done Pools.

Ken your still a cock but well done for listening!!! Let it get the place buzzing. Go to the pub and get smashed if it helps; it seemed to help plenty of people at Morecambe who could barley manage the stairs!

Fair play and an article from Ken too.

Good old ken gets the fans onside while improving his bank balance at the same time.
I know whats done is done but a bit of ambition from him on the playing side and we wouldnt be attempting the great escape!

Do people REALLY believe that Ken suddenly does away with his financial instincts and drops prices to please the fans.

REALLY?

Could it not be the case that he has dropped prices because we are bottom of the league, have been playing shite and we are getting very few people paying on the day through the gates.

Gullible twats. All over facebook saying the same rubbish.

Nice bit of spin, I will credit Ken with that.

Why do they have to use that phrase?

Quote:
The backing you have all given to the team both at home and away has been superb and
I want you to know that it is hugely appreciated by everyone at HUFC and by the owners IOR.

Look Ken, understand one thing. That phrase pisses people off and actually, the owners own very little. IOR own;

A bunch of shares.
A few rotting grandstands on rented land
a drawer full of contracts with players who have been on auto pilot all season up until the last week when 'that meeting' took place. You know, the one when they were told they were out of a job if they went down.

HUFC is not only a share issue it is part of the town, the community and its history. Without the fans then 'the owners' have absolutely nothing.

Please stop using that phrase.

Is there going to be another ticket offer for Cambridge game?
Surely they dont think the pay on the day fans from Mansfield game will return at full price or even half of them!

I hope so, this game could lift us out of the relegation zone and it would be immense to do it in front of a big crowd.

I'm going with a few others on Saturday and know of a few othr Sunderland fans who are going if it's cheaper on the door again. I imagine you'd get over 5k in if that's the case. I'm looking forward to it. It'd certainly be a good idea with it being a free weekend for Premier League and Championship clubs.

Wont get 5000 but another 100 on the gate is still more money to the club
