I've been contact by a guy looking for info on his Great Grandfather who played for Pools just after the turn of the century 1900-1910. ITMC goes back to 1910 so there is nothing there about him. I wondered if either of you had anything pre-1910?

The players name was David Larkin.

West and Pools - have a photo - had someone looking for a john Larkin two weeks back, larkin about.

Will sort something out tomorrow and send you what I have.

Found his death - lackin in Shotton colliery and that's it. Nowt in my hand written notes and nowt on line - another added to the list of people I have been told played for Pools. I will continue to look for these people from time to time but couldnt trace him when asked week or so back.

Whenever these lads of that era come forth, I can help wondering how many died in France a few years later.
