Jon Achterberg was released by Tranmere on Friday. He's 35 but if you remember he's been a class act, a big lad and a very noisy man in his area.

Just a thought, but regrettably there's no 's's in his name.... confised

Tranmere released him as he failed some fitness test.
Apparently they have then immediately started negotiating a new contract with him, which obviously will not be as lucrative because of that 'fitness' problem.

No. It was her inability to run, throw, kick a ball, drive and stay out of shoe shops that prevented her from playing in the Premiership. That and the fact that she roundly abused everyone and stuffed herself with chocolate at regular intervals and blamed her 'hormones.' :roll:
