Recalled by Boro midweek but didn't feature in their squad today. Now if we could get him in for the last 10 games I would fancy us to pull this off.

I concur I'd ask for him and Fewster.

Not recalled Mowbray didn't fancy him, we already have the max number of loan players I think.

The loan system allows you to have 7 players at a club but only 5 in a matchday squad.

Then lets get rid of a loan player like Morgan or Jones, Williams is worth more than the two of them put together. Just get him in any way we can.

ITS A NO BRAINER, HODCROFT....ARE YOU LISTENING??? banghead

He would make more of a contribution than Jones and Morgan, sounds a decent swopsy to me.

Doubt he'd want to come to be honest, or that Boro would send him to us. I imagine their priority would be sending him to a League 1 side if they were looking to loan him out. Non-starter for me.

He is always tweeting pictures of him with Walker, obviously we are local and he will want to prove a point to Mowbray that he is up for a fight etc (no bigger fight than here) I'm pretty sure he would jump at the chance to be here till end of season.

I agree Boro probably don't want him at League 2 level but better than sitting in reserves.

He has the ability to make a massive difference, we desperately need some creative spark in the final third he showed he has that in abundance next season. Having a game changer would give us more chance of picking points up in the road for were a lot have games have been over as soon as we've gone one behind.

Luke Williams wants to impress the Coventry manager? If he'd done that he'd probably still be there.

Has he appeared for Boro this year? You can't play for more than 3 clubs in a given season and he's already played for Scunny and Coventry

Maybe it doesn't count for loans. You'd think they'd wanna be promoting youngsters going out on loan.

It's me being an idiot. I can see what's going on there.

I'm still sure he'd rather prove a point to Karanka

I know you said he wasn't what we needed the last time he came, but the results speak for themselves. He was different biscuits at this level last season, and would probably be again this season.

We have to win 6 or 7 games somehow between now and the end of the season, and Williams is a proven match winner. He's also a goal scorer, something we desperately need.

Chip- he is a good player and better than what we have got, but proven matchwinner! surely not!. He was another defensive midfielder. Getting him in would do no harm but think we need something better to get us the goals we need to survive, something like Michael Brown in the late 90s, surely no one thinks Luke is as good as Brown?

He doesn't want Luke Williams as he is a defensive midfielder but wants someone like Michael Brown to get us goals.

Are you thinking of matty Dolan? Or did you just Google 'Williams boro' and assumed he's also called Rhys?

Or neither of course....
