Looking at this article and seeing the picture from Frank Reid, isn't that Higgy stood with Moore?

I hope he is helping out behind the scenes, especially with the strikers as when he was here under Cooper, he was definitely the brains behind the pair.

I did hear he was at the game Saturday like and that certainly looks like him.

Interesting, I never noticed him stood in the dugout mind.

Can only be good news this if he stays, even though he was out the door quicker than a rat up a drainpipe last time around.

First positive thought I've had about Pools for weeks. Get him in.

Hopefully he's helping Moore out in the background and doing abit of shooting practice with the strikers!

Hignett would offer a hell of a lot more than Sam Collins in training.

My team would be the following for the next games

Flinders
Duckworth Harrison Mirfin Holden
Tish
Jones Ebby Hawkins Franks
Bird

Plenty of pace and just play Attacking Football

Don't think Ebby will even be considered for a start.

Yes it is as easy as that the problem we have we always sit to deep and when it goes up top our midfield is to far behind play to make any difference hence we dont score goals.
Watch Bournemouth play this system of pushing on they score plenty of goals and a lot of the players there are still the ones who were playing against us not so long back

Bird has scored goals in the past but with the best will in the world if he doesnt get support he aint likely to do anything.
Bournemouth scored 5 on Friday night all from their Full backs and midfield im not saying pools players are as good as them how ever if you play the 4 1 4 1 system the chances will come.

But if you're wanting pace and attacking football then surely Smith would go ahead of Bird.

Yet you're willing to throw Ebby in the mix. I like the way you're thinking though and would love us to play with a bit of pace and attacking style. But it seems Ronnie is a fan of having a big lump upfront and the long ball to him.

We are all good managers how ever i have been watching football now for over 50 years and when something is not right in this case we dont score goals its like any job unless you change the way you do things you will just have the same problem as you allways have had and thats why we are were we are.

It may work but were yet to know since the big lumps we sign are weak and cant head a ball for toffee.

even derren brown wouldnt be able to convince Harewood he's supposed to be a striker

I'd go this for next game. Austin has to be rested and may as well try Jordan Richards at left back - better than Dan Jones/Holden in there. Featherstone has no bite or attacking flair so must be sacrificed for Keiron Green and young Smith must be restored.

Flinders
Duckworth Harrison Mirfin Richards
Jones Green Tsibola Compton
Bird Smith
