When we have a date, time & venue how are we going to spread the word?

Social media, media and message boards are the obvious ones, but are we going to do a leaflet drop or is that overkill?

If we are im more than happy to do a bit of delivering

I've heard a few words spoken about a leaflet distribution outside of pools before/after a game. Few bodies on the turnstiles should do it.

I'd certainly be up for helping with that.

I'll join the LDE to help spread the word.

Maybe people could take one from the game then run off a few copies of their own. You could then put them on the bar of you're local or notice board of cafe or any other place people frequent.

I'll take care of Northern Spain. Not France though. I don't want to encroach on Mr Louse's territory.

Got to be a bit careful. You need a licence to distribute leaflets and the penalty for not having one is upto £2500. I've emailed the council.

That is why I ask if Pools have been asked if we can place some in their ticket office.
If they agree to that then surely they will be happy for leaflets to be distributed n their ground.

Saying that though, the club may just laugh at the suggestion.
The fan's and the current owners both want the same thing though don't they? The club to survive.

Don't know why but I've never fancied going out East. I've had opportunities to go to Thailand and China but never quite fancied it.

Best make sure that the tone of the leaflet isn't provocative towards the current owners. You need to sound like you are prepared to work alongside any owners providing they have the best interests of the club at heart. Doing it this way shouldn't get IOR on your back, who knows it may even make them more open towards the trust.
